DESCRIPTION:Es war eine tolle Veranstaltung! Hier die vorherige Ankündigung: \n„Pool of forgotten Ideas ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt von Kathryn Nussdorf und Christoph Parke. Die Basis ist eine Masterarbeit im Fach Architektur an der TU Berlin zur Gestaltung des Steinplatzes von Kathryn Nussdorf.\nDer Inszenierung liegt eine historische Recherche über realisierte und verworfene Gestaltungsformen des Steinplatzes zugrunde. In Verbindung mit der Frage, welche Bedeutung Plätze im öffentlichen Leben haben, wird eine intime, illuminierte Illusion geschaffen.\nSie imaginiert einen Ort der Ruhe und Geborgenheit gegenüber dem Lärm und der Hektik der Großstadt.\nDie Illumination benutzt die Ästhetik der umgebenden Beleuchtung und moduliert sie zu einem Erscheinungsbild, welches die Prinzipien von Yin und Yang aufgreift.\nEs entsteht ein Ort der mit der sehnsuchtsvollen Urerfahrung kokettiert, nämlich der Nähe nach Wasser.\nMit dezenten Symbolen, wird ein Raum geschaffen, in dem der Besucher in eine neue Welt eintaucht und deren Idee gleichsam kreiert.\nAlso vergiss den Schwimmreifen nicht. \n \nPool of forgotten Ideas is a joint project by Kathryn Nussdorf and Christoph Parke. It is based on a master’s thesis by Kathryn Nussdorf in the department of architecture at the TU Berlin on the design of Steinplatz.\nThe staging is based on historical research about realized and rejected forms of design of Steinplatz. In connection with the question of the significance of squares in public life, an intimate, illuminated illusion is created.\nIt imagines a place of peace and security against the noise and bustle of the big city.\nThe illumination uses the aesthetics of the surrounding lighting and modulates it to create an appearance that echoes the principles of yin and yang.\nThe result is a place that flirts with a primordial yearning, namely the proximity to water.\nWith discrete symbols, a space is created in which the visitor dives into a new world and creates its idea, as it were.\nSo don’t forget the life preserver.“\n
